Founded in 2014 by Ajay Walia, alongside partner Reena Miglani, Rasa quickly gained recognition for its bold vision and refined execution, earning a Michelin star within its first year and building a loyal following. After evolving under a different brand during the challenges of the pandemic, the restaurant has returned to its original Burlingame home, revitalized and reenergized. With a renewed interior, an inspired menu, and a continued commitment to exceptional hospitality, Rasa once again places Southern Indian cuisine at center stage, celebrating its depth, color, and timeless appeal with every dining experience.
