Johnston Urbandale Soccer Club (JUSC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality youth soccer programs for players in Johnston, Urbandale, and nearby communities. The club’s roots go back to the 1970s, when the Johnston Soccer Club and the Urbandale Soccer Club first began serving local families. In 2007, the two clubs partnered to offer select soccer programs under the Johnston Urbandale Soccer Club name, and in 2017, they officially merged into one organization. Today, JUSC continues to build on this strong community foundation by helping young athletes grow their skills, confidence, and love for the game.

JUSC also works with regional partners to create more opportunities for competitive play and player development. In 2014, JUSC and the West Des Moines Soccer Club began organizing select teams for older high school age groups under the Sporting Iowa brand. This partnership expanded in 2019 with the creation of Mid-Iowa Soccer Academy, which now supports select programs from 11U through 19U. JUSC is affiliated with US Club Soccer and is part of the Sporting Club Network, while also remaining active in the Johnston and Urbandale Chambers of Commerce, reflecting the club’s ongoing commitment to both the sport and the local community.
