Mountaineer Athletic Association
Home

The Mountaineer Athletic Association (MAA) is a vital organization supporting Western Colorado University Athletics, tracing its roots back to the Century Club established in 1963-64. Evolving through various membership levels and names, it adopted its current title in 1995. The MAA is dedicated to providing educational opportunities for young student-athletes and fostering competitive performances. It achieves this through individual memberships, a robust corporate partnership program that has grown to include numerous local and regional businesses, and key fundraising events.

Notable events include the annual Sam Boyd Crab Feed, Auction Dinner, and Casino Night, which have raised significant funds for student-athlete scholarships, as well as the Mountaineer Bowl Golf Tournament and the Mountaineer 5K. Members receive benefits such as all-sport passes, MAA regalia, reserved parking, and invitations to social functions, while contributing to the success of Western Colorado University's athletic programs.
