About the Ramblers

The Black Canyon Ramblers band is based out of the Gunnison Valley of Colorado, home to one of the most spectacular geological formations in the United States: the Black Canyon. The Ramblers specialize in traditional bluegrass, folk, country and Americana acoustic music and have played numerous venues such as the I-Bar, the Almont, Crested Bucha, Butte 66 and the Mallardi Theatre, The band has opened for the L'il Smokies at the Crested Butte Chili & Beer Fest, the Wailers at Ambush Ranch (Crested Butte), opened for Floodgate Operators at I-BAR Ranch, for The Fretliners at Almont Resort and headlined at other local venues in the Gunnison Valley.

The band members are comprised of:

- Matt Shugert on lead vocals and guitar
- Madeline Shugert on vocals and clawhammer banjo
- Kevin Donovan on vocals and standup bass
- Drew Murdza on vocals, mandolin and fiddle
- Jim Davidson on vocals and rhythm and fingerstyle guitar
