Arise Chicago is where faith, labor, and action come together to create lasting change for working families across the city. Since 1991, we’ve been uniting immigrants, workers, and faith communities to confront injustice head-on and ensure dignity in every workplace. Our roots run deep in the belief that every person carries inherent worth and deserves fair treatment, from a living wage to safe conditions. With a strong history of collaboration and advocacy, we’ve built a trusted space where workers can stand together, learn their rights, and lead efforts that transform workplaces into environments of fairness and respect.
Through our Worker Center and faith-labor initiatives, Arise Chicago has supported thousands of workers in reclaiming stolen wages, strengthening workplace protections, and building collective power. Guided by the moral voice of diverse religious traditions, we create bridges between congregations, community members, and labor organizations to inspire action that uplifts the common good. Our work is not only about fighting against exploitation, but also about building a city where workers thrive and families flourish. With every campaign, training, and act of solidarity, we continue to shape a more just and compassionate Chicago.
